Congratulations Simon Harrison on your Promotion

We’re delighted to announce the promotion of Simon Harrison to the role of Project Engineer - a fantastic success story that highlights both individual dedication and the strength of career development within our business. 09-04-2026

Simon’s journey with Glenfield Invicta spans more than 20 years, beginning “on the tools” as a Workshop Engineer. Over the years, he has steadily built his knowledge and expertise, moving into a Site Engineer role where he gained valuable hands-on experience working directly with customers and installations. More recently, Simon has broadened his skillset further, taking on responsibilities in project scoping, quoting, organisation, and delivery - all of which have led to this well-deserved transition into Project Engineering.

Simon’s progression demonstrates the real value of practical, hands-on experience within our Project Engineering team. His deep understanding of our products, particularly from an installation perspective - built over decades - brings invaluable insight to project planning and execution. This experience helps ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the high standards our customers expect.

Speaking about his new role, Simon said:

"After working for 18 years as a field site engineer, I recently stepped into a project engineer role to broaden my skills and knowledge. I was fortunate to work with a great site team during that time and learn from other engineers, where I could pass on my experience to new and developing engineers. Moving into this new role has been both challenging and interesting, offering a wider view of project delivery and an opportunity to continue growing professionally."

Simon’s promotion is a great example of the opportunities for career development and progression within Glenfield Invicta. His journey reflects how practical experience, commitment, and a willingness to grow can open new pathways and support both personal and business success.

Please join us in congratulating Simon on his well-earned promotion.
