British Dam Society Conference
Glenfield Invicta was delighted to attend the British Dam Society (BDS) Biennial Conference 2026, held at Keele University from 9–12 September. As a Platinum Sponsor of this year’s conference, we were proud to support an event that brings together professionals from across the dams and reservoirs community to share knowledge, discuss industry challenges and explore the future of this vital area of UK water infrastructure. 15-09-2026
Four Productive Days at Keele University
The four-day conference provided an excellent opportunity for the Glenfield Invicta team to meet with customers, consultants, engineers and other industry professionals from across the sector.
Throughout the event, our stand welcomed both familiar faces and new contacts, resulting in some excellent conversations around current and future dam and reservoir projects.
There was also significant interest in Glenfield Invicta’s experience within the sector and the valve and engineered site solutions we provide for critical water infrastructure.
Our team enjoyed discussing individual project requirements, sharing technical knowledge and exploring how Glenfield Invicta can support the challenges associated with maintaining, upgrading and developing dam and reservoir assets.
Supporting the Dams and Reservoirs Community
Events such as the British Dam Society Conference provide an important opportunity for the industry to come together, exchange experience and strengthen relationships across the dams and reservoirs community.
Representing Glenfield Invicta throughout the conference were Kenneth Ottley, Engineering Services Manager – Dams, Reservoirs & Hydropower, Peter Fletcher and Greg Morris, who were on hand to discuss projects and share their experience with delegates.
We would like to thank everyone who took the time to visit the Glenfield Invicta stand and speak with the team. The level of interest and engagement throughout the four days made BDS 2026 an extremely worthwhile event.

Following a busy and productive conference, our team is now following up on the many enquiries, conversations and new connections made at Keele University.
